Alrighty then...

So today was a good day I suppose. I finished up my first session of Classes at CTU. I am excited about that. Work went smooth as well. Now, I was certain I was getting out of the Navy, but a new opportunity arose. I submitted an application for a commissioning program. If I get picked up then the Navy will send me to school for 3 years and give me a commission upon completion. At the same time they will still pay me while I am going to school. Pretty good huh? Of course right now this is just a consideration... Not sure if I want to do it yet...

So I have been educating a lot of people about the LP lately. Oh and stick with me here, LP = Libertarian Party. It feels good to preach the good news so to say... I am finding that a lot of people will open up to the idea of being free when they realize they aren't. Heh sounds funny saying that huh? The idea of being free... Why is freedom an idea? Aren't we free already? You would like to think that were are... wouldn't you? Well the sad fact is that we are not free. We have some freedoms. That's nice and all but that's not what our founding father's had in mind for the US... We are monitored all the time... The internet, our phones, our TV's, our credit/debit cards... just to name a few things... Privacy is a thing of the past. It's only been getting worse and will only get worse over time. We have to do something about it. The time for talk is over. Spread the word. Preach for freedom. Tell your friends and family.

By spreading the word we are only helping our country and our fellow Americans. It's almost a civil duty to make sure other citizens know whats going on in today's politics. I have a good feeling that the LP can have some serious shots at the White House soon. Not so much for 08, but by 2012 we can have a serious candidate that even the lefts and the rights would consider.

Oh and speeking of freedom... I quit smoking May 8th. I think I can stick with it this time.

That's it for today.
